Cool cool, makes sense.
Honestly, in this day and age where people who file share are treated like criminals facing years in prison, I'd actually feel safe knowing that even governments couldn't recover the data.
Hypothetically, short of destroying a disk, how many passes would it take to safely say, "Well... they aren't gettin crap off that drive."
Then again, I doubt they'd spend the time and money in the event I was flagged for some type of file sharing / downloading
