What randygurl said is about right. You can keep your underwear on, probably minus bra but it doesn't matter because you're facing down anyway. If they expect you to go fully naked there is always a towel to cover your bottom anyway. Only do what you're comfortable with. Talk to the person you're working with. I'd rather have a woman do the massage because the masseuse will have access to your body so to speak and with a guy it may be less comfortable, and I worry about getting felt up the wrong way if you know what I mean. I feel that is less likely with a woman. Usually I go with my instinct, when I meet the masseuse I can pretty much see if I will be comfortable with them or not. If I don't feel right I ask for someone else - it's your massage right?
Enjoy the gift, it's great for relaxation and your body will feel wonderful after.

Whether we write or speak or do but look
We are ever unapparent. What we are
Cannot be transfused into word or book.
Our soul from us is infinitely far.
However much we give our thoughts the will
To be our soul and gesture it abroad,
Our hearts are incommunicable still.
In what we show ourselves we are ignored.
The abyss from soul to soul cannot be bridged
By any skill of thought or trick of seeming.
Unto our very selves we are abridged
When we would utter to our thought our being.
We are our dreams of ourselves, souls by gleams,
And each to each other dreams of others' dreams.
Fernando Pessoa, 1918
