Seriously Ch'i... do not make that your concern. Just get out and take a picture. Worry about making great pictures later. I've done most of my photos on TFP with the camera that came with my phone. It has less than a megapixel in resolution (or whatever a megapixel represents). The point is to work on composition and style with what you have. I know some people that have very expensive cameras and they couldn't take a good picture to save their lives.
It's all about trying and trying some more. Take lots of pictures and spend some time looking at other's photos and try to figure out why theirs looks good or bad (there is often more to learn from a bad example than a good one).
