willravel: Thanks for the compliments. I've been an art major for about 4.5 years, which has really helped me to draw constantly and learn how to draw what I see, and not what I THINK I see.
For the most part, I've learned to draw by looking at art that I like, and trying to figure out what makes it work. Also, I try to get as much feedback on my art as I can, to better shape my work and achieve whatever goals I may be working towards at that point.
I think that the main part of drawing is observation. Draw what is actually in front of you, rendering objects in shapes of varying value, not what your mind "knows" the object should look like.
