You could just wait until he's in the bathroom again, and walk in and repeat, except, if he gets hard and turns away, just grab him and have at it. Then talk about it later.
Any time you bring up the subject, it might be embarrassing at first, but talk as adults and be open and honest. You never know what he might be open for!
