I'll second that. AE makes a really fine shoe, very comfortable. No steel shank, the soles flex/twist in order to create an arch for support. Best shoes I have owned. You can send old AE's to the company and they will rebuild them for less than a new pair. I"ve not done that, but might with one pair I have.
