All the King's Men
There is nothing else I want to see. I don't know how many of you have read the Pulitzer-prize winning book by Robert Penn Warren (published many decades ago), but it's incredible. The story of the rise and fall of Willie Stark, governor of Louisiana, portrayed after the real-life megalomaniac governor Huey Long.
It was the first "real" novel I read in high school, my junior year, and it kicked my ass... 11 years later, I think it would still kick my ass. I hope to read it (or at least browse it) again soon before seeing the film.
