Not unnecessary at all! We can't say it often enough or loud enough ourselves.

Breaking free of the myriad taboos and commonly-accepted mores is challenging, but in our opinion worth the effort. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there are LOTS of others out there who bridle at the double standard most cultures have regarding sexuality, and who are actively working to change (or at least work around) the paradigm.
