I guess I was posing two different questions. One was regarding natural remedies/preventatives and the other was the impact of ibuprofen after lifting. The anit inflamatory claims of the cherry juice just got me to thinking (a dangerous thing!).
I do pretty well on the sore muscle thing - I've been lifting and doing other sports related activities for years. And, my wife is a Yoga instructor so she keeps me on the stretching path. And yes, stretching, especially after lifting, is important.
