I use it. If I'm buying something that's $6.48 for example, then I will give exact change. If I don't have enough smaller bills I'll even give $10.48 and end up with only $4 change in return. Because I do this I don't get as much small change from transactions either so it keeps the amount down.
Otherwise, if I'm being lazy and don't give exact change as often then I will give the change to my kid.
