I've got some ivy growing around my house that needs to die. I want to use chemical means but haven't found an effective herbacide. Roundup didn't touch the stuff and Brush-B-Gone was just as ineffective.

Any suggestions?

Note: I don't want to poison the ground. There are other plants and trees nearby that I want alive. So suggestions like "pour gasoline on it" aren't going to do the trick.
