I prefer cream sauces over tomato sauces, but generally I love my mom's spaghetti sauce. She just dresses up some canned Hunt's with some other spices and sweet Italian sausage. My mom is the queen of making people think her cooking is homemade from scratch--people ask for her recipes and she just laughs.
I make my marinara from scratch but I don't like spaghetti sauce without meat, so I don't eat it often (boyfriend's vegetarian, so it's for him, not me). I usually just eat the noodles with some butter and cheese.
And I prefer shaped pasta, not noodles, though nothing beats a seafood alfredo on fettucine in my book.
