I think this is a good point to mention. I've done a couple of 40 hour stints at LAN parties, and something I noticed, was that while caffine kept me up, food keeps me far more alert and active. Caffine alone leaves me concious, but otherwise, a zombie. Of course, no way I'd try and drive for 40 hours.
