Not to turn this into a legality of abortion discussion, but that's a nasty little kink in the whole discussion and one that I'd not considered. I don't have a whole lot to add that hasn't already been said. I agree that there's a gross discrepancy, but I'm having a hard time trying to come up with a solution that makes sense.
