Experience, expectations, familiarity. Everyone's got different levels of those, and it'll affect how they visualize 'a street.'
A more interesting question would be to individually ask several different people to visualize the same, _real_ street, one that they were all familiar with, and compare what they did or didn't recollect, what they did or didn't leave in or out, what parts they recollected correctly or incorretly, etc.
