Temporary mounting solutions
I'm going to be decorating someone's in-house elevator next week for a party, and I'm looking for some suggestions on what materials to use to tempararily mount the things I have in mind without peeling or stripping the walls when it all comes down.
Elevator stats - It's an elevator with no hand rails, and the walls are either stained wood (unlikely) or regular elevator walls covered in fake wood wallpaper stuff to make it look like stained wood.
Whats going up - A few hundred blank cd's on one wall, an enlarged to 7feet picture on probably light to medium duty paper (less dense than construction paper), construction paper silhouettes of the house owner, phone book paper, assorted other papers and pictures.
I can probably get away with double sided tape for the light stuff, but it is the cd's and the full size picture that I'm worried about. I'd rather not have it be falling off during the night. The adhesives need to be relatively sturdy, while at the same time they need to be removable by heat, a solvent, or some other non-destructive method.
Thanks!
