When I got mine, they had a special package deal where they'd ship you a "random" insert...you couldn't pick the opening or color, but it was 1/2 price! It turned out to be a plain non-descript opening one, but it's pretty amazing. I was skeptical, but I highly recommend this product to anybody thinking about it. Money well spent.
It's pretty huge/unwieldy though...not exactly the size of any flashlight I've seen.
One of the best suggestions I read somewhere was to put it between two mattress pads.
