Attn: Brian Griffin Sexton.
Sir,
I want to bring to your notice that my account officer was not able to collect the money($550) from the western union office here in my country and was embarrass by the officials of the western union.
Why did you at first use the anti-terrorism legislation to make the payment.
For your sake and your claim, you go back to the western union office where you made the payment notify them of the status of the transaction you made or i have no case to be blame.
This my advice to you, i have file your application to the bank and they are ready to contact you to effect transfer of your claim to you. So i want you to go to the western union office and correct the mistake and scan and send to me the transfer slip, without that i can not send my account officer any more to the western union office to be embarras again.
Quick anticipation needed.
Yours in service,
Barrister Gbenga Tilo.

Dear Brian,
How are you? The probate attorney called me this morning my time saying that his account officer was embarrass in the western union office, that the $550 which you said you sent was not found in western union, that there was no transaction like that.
Brian, please dont put me into problems because Barrister Gbenga Tilo is a well known and respectable person here in country. Please on your behalf that it might be a mistake coming from the western union office because you are a trustworthy person.
Please Brian i want you to do this favour on my behalf and this claim,go to the western union office and release the money because it is still currently on hold.
Please do not let me lose this claim, you do all your best and rectify it as soon as possible.

Thomas,
Sorry about the silence, I have been quite busy here lately. I am still trying to get the money from the TFP. I tell you sir, I am quite broke right now. I had to go give blood just to buy some food. I am sorry the MTCN number didn't work, I got the money back Saturday, and I put it back in this afternoon. They still won't give me the MTCN number, but only the code to get it. Western Union is really cracking down on sending money to african countries because of all this terrorism stuff.
The code they gave me is
1664554760002164555252554760-2732-400182315332900232729181900153521353334232819-1100-117993768824-148-350
and the website is www.awebsite.com the office I went to said they don't give out MTCN numbers any more for transfers going out of the country. I am sorry, I don't think there is anything else I can do.. Please let me know as soon as you are able to recieve the transfer.

They were not happy about this one bit, but I will admit, they are getting smarter, and now they want to use a moneygram service
Quote:
Dear Brian,
I got your mail and i want you to use Money Gram Transfer to send the money to the probate attorney as western union fail to give you the MTCN.
I want you to act fast and go to the Money Gram Transfer immediately because we both have limited time frame on our side.
As soon as you make the payment please notify me.

Thomas Cole

and of course, I play dumb..

Thomas,
I have never used a Money Gram Transfer before, how would I go about doing that? Do I have to go through the bank? If so, I cannot, I don't have the money in the bank, I'd have to get it back from the western union office first, then deposit it in the bank, and that seems like it would take way too long. What was wrong with the western union transfer, didn't it give you a MTCN? I know they said there would be a few security questions that you would have to answer before you got the MTCN, but they assured me that it was working. Please advise.

he tries to explain it to me

Dear Brian,
I got your mail. The Money Gram transfer is like the western union money transfer they both are similar.
Yopu go to the western union office and colect your money you said you send because there was no MTCN, which i beleive you know.
I want to know if you are serious about this transaction and ready to conclude it with me because you are wasting all the time we have. So you go to the Money Gram Transfer and make the payment and they will give you the MTCN .
Hoping to hear a good news from you.
Thomas Cole.

don't feel bad for them, these scammers are theifs, crooks, liars, and generaly bad people. There are many people that live in Nigeria that do not scam people out of their hard earned cash. See how he didn't even miss a beat when I told him I was using the money that should be going to pay for pills for my mother? These people are the worse kind of scum.
My plan is now to drive him slowly insane, maybe then he will leave the scamming business and find a real job.
