I hate carrying a purse, too, but I managed to find a good compromise with this (but without the bling):
It's a purse! It's a weapon! When the handle breaks, I take it to a body shop so they can pop-rivet it back on
It's definitely a conversation-starter.
Also, I took the androgyny test again and this time scored "nearly masculine." When I took it before I scored "nearly feminine." Perhaps it depends on my mood when I take it. Hm.
