If you guys and gals are ever in Chicago get an Italian Beef Sandwich with Hot Giardiniera & Provolone...some are better than others but you can find a good one at hundreds of places in the city and suburbs. Ask anyone to recommend a place nearby and they can tell you...
We have a place called the Hoagie Hut as well...if you ever come across it just tell them you want a "original cheese steak". Different style than Philly but uniquely incredible...
Finally, a deli called Lucia's on North Avenue in Bucktown....order the Meatball sandwich with homemade giardiniera...sure to knock your fokking socks off...
