I bought a winchester model 1000X a while back, the sights that came on it sucked. They were too easily adjustable. I put a scope on it and can now touch pellets at 25 yards. The other huge problem with accuracy is the trigger, I cant get it to pull easily so I need a solid rest any time I shoot, offhand wont work at all. (And I am confident I can shoot well.) The power is good, I think in the 900 range. Just my opinion, find another rifle but go with the break barrel for ease and power
