on the subject of pilsners, I heard on the news, that Steamwhistle is so popular that they are running out of the green bottles used for their product.
This beer is actually quite enjoyable for a "light"style. I mean light in the sense that I prefer amber style ales such as Kilkenny, or the darks produced by local micros. as well as IPAs.
I have always steered clear from the flavourless corparate brews (Labatts Blue, Molson Canadian, Corona) even in the hot summer months. But Steamwhistle has gotten me blowing a different tune. I would place it up there with Creemore lagar for fullness of flavour.
