Don't worry, I still call my wife (of 11 years) my girlfriend. I just say it's more convenient to have your wife and your girlfriend be the same person.
As to the singer, yes, she has a big voice. She sounds like every other belter out there. Why does every female singer feel the need to belt every song at 110%?
