Wow, changes actually happened.... I don't even know if I should bother reporting anything because when I did Hal never gave an answer. Not that he had to but it would of been nice.
*Sigh* With all the anti-aliasing problems w/ the past themes and all, and former features removed that I recommended and Hal so kindly installed in 3.0 version I believe. But when he upgraded after that it was all lost, I made a thread in Suggestions w/ all the requests and new ideas but I was never answered.
Hal, now that you have seemingly have time [b/c I know workin' on the forum bugs can be a chore especially when you had to balance your personal life at the same time] should I reask? I really, REALLY do not want to post the suggestions if I'm going to get ignored; my mind simply couldn't take that again.
For example, someone asked you
how the journals were made to be faster. I know you can't be expected to see every question but... I'm speaking from experience when someone asked you about a technical aspect of the site.
But yeah, I'm really interested to know even it is in coder geek speak. You could always simplify the terminology.
Anyway, let me know Hal - the ideas and opinions are here... they just never get heard by the only person who can do anything about them which is
you. I've tried reaching different admins in the past w/ suggestions seemingly in their terrority of being an admin, nothing to change the site or overhaul it in a major fashion and I've been told it had to be you. Then kindly PM'ing you to see what your thoughts on the suggestion were, usually inviting you to comment in the thread so that everyone could see than to expect a personal response. You never showed.
I realize this is your baby, but if an experienced admin can edit a theme template to make links not get hidden because they match the background they're on, can't he be allowed to?
I know this is all in the past 'n all, but... I just really can't bare to give the opinions and be treated like a mime. A
yes or
no is always perfectly fine followed by personal opinions. But in the past... never got that kind of response much less the acknowledgement. This was the guy who recommended
QuickQuote II and
QuickEdit, which worked beautifully and received massive praise as a great addition resoundingly, but no one seemed to care to readd them after the upgrade that removed them took place.
