I am not looking to have this thread be a political dicussion. I just want to know if any of you have felt the GST reduction yet.

Today I purchased my first Tim's Mediam Double Double since the the GST was reduced.
When the sales lady rang up the sale she said "1.29". I was caught by surprise, I was sure I always paid over 1.30. Then I remembered that teh GSt was reduced.

Nice. I will save a few ents when I buy a coffee. Actually, I will notice the few cents when I buy a coffee, you don't really notice it, unless you calculate the savings, on something that you don't regularly buy or on something where the cost varies.

If you always buy the same coffee, lunch...you may notice it but if you go to the pharmacy and buy a whole bunch of stuff and you may not notice it.

Well, have any of you felt the reduction?
