No idea. I don't have any memory of that particular attack.
Visitng my parents. Normally, my folks left their kitchen door wide open because they were known for having a parade of folks "drop by" at suppertime. This particular night, Grancey and I walked up to the door and it was LOCKED?!? When finally I got my mother to open the door and I asked her why it was locked, she said it was because "the war just started." She was dead serious; she locked her door because the U.S. was bombing Kuwait. I didn't laugh out loud, but I was DYING inside....

At home preparing a poster for a band I was playing in (Saucy Jack). I was sitting on the floor with all my material scattered around me and watching it unfold live on TV in front of me. The phone rang and it was a secretary with the Board of Education at a school system where I'd just applied for a job (I'd just gotten my teacher's certification in December) and they wanted me to come in for an interview. I would end up getting the job, but the secretary had no idea what was going on when I tried to explain to her about the shuttle.
