We usually watch the Ashbridge's fireworks from the Leslie Street Spit... Last night I was taking my daughter to see the fireworks for the first time. As approached the entrance to the spit,there was a line of cops. They weren't letting anyone into the spit.
We ended up watching the show from Leslie Street, just west of the water treatment plant... not the best of views.
I want to find the city official that decided it was a good idea to close access to the spit. What a fricken moron.
