Ok, so I decided to call the brewry. I spoke to the operator (receptionist) and asked if there was anybody there who could help me find a location around the city that sold St. Ambroise in general and the Oatmeal Stout specifically. She said that I should speak to the orders department (presumably this is becuase if they take they orders they know for wich locations they are for).
I called the order department and the guy asked my which supermarkets I shop at. I said I go to IGA. He said that IGA and Loblaws cary them. I asked him if he was sure and if he knew if it was all IGA and Loblaws locations. He said yes.
He then asked me if I knew what the packaging looks like. Hmm is he saying that I am an idiot? he might as well have asked me if I know how to read.
Anyway, after work I went to three supermarkets (1 Loblaws and 2 IGAs) and none of them carry St. Ambroise.
