Can I bring historical figures? In that case I'd bring William Bligh of Bounty fame, because man, that guy could navigate. And also Ernest Shackleton, the polar explorer, for his badassery and stubbornness. And finally the Right Honourable Horatio Nelson, because I'd like to meet him. Otherwise, I'd pick three world leaders like Bush, Annan and maybe Putin so that everyone would be looking for us.
Stuff for the first case would be a boat, a sextant and a compass. For the second case, food, a deck of cards to while away the time and some tranquillisers if the world leaders start fighting or something.
