Here are the basic gun laws I recognize:
1.) Always treat a firearm as if it's loaded.
2.) Keep your finger off the trigger unless you're going to shoot.
3.) Don't point your weapon at anything you don't intend to shoot.
4.) Know your backstop i.e. what's behind your target.
