It's good if you accept the cheesy dialogue in the beginning and realise before watching it that it's not very funny, but more dark and kind of depressing.
It's one of those movies that might make you cry, actually. Adam Sandler does a suprisingly good job.
Spoiler: Morty's name is long for Mort, which is death, interestingly enough
