I don't know if I will be going this year but will probably attend my neighbour's annual party.
The parade is a lot of fun. The crowds are thick. If you can, try to stand on the east side of Yonge St. They close down Church Street and it becomes a massive street party, with beer gardens, etc. If you are on the west side of Yonge it can be difficult to get across the street.
While the party can get naked, it is never really obscene. I took my son a few years ago (he was about 10) and we had fun.
It's really just a big party for everyone.
