What my bf and I did was get a movie rental membership at a porn shop, and he let me pick out what I wanted to see, and he'd help me narrow down the choices. What she prefers and what you prefer may also be different... and when you're renting, you don't have to worry about spending a bunch of money on something you're not sure if you'll like. Pick out a few different movies at a time, each one a different style/film maker, and figure out what you guys like... it's very subjective, at least in my experience. =)
