Making a "hybrid" spudgun
now, these spudguns are the best, most powerfull, and also the most dangerous, i suggest that you be extremely carfull when dealing with one of these babies!
supplies-
-> i suggest a metal pipe instead of standard PVC so the whole damn thing doesnt go boom and you die in a firey explosion.
-> large metal (again, suggested) tank for air pressure
-> standard sprinkler valve will do for firing (suggesting electronic)
-> BBQ lighter or sparkplug
-> air valve for bike / car tires
-> metered propane tank
-> PSI meter for the air tank
-> a valve for a propane tank to go on the tank do u can plug in a propane tank on the air tank
-> a huge ammount of super powerful epoxy, tape,a nd if you want to use metal, forget the appoxy and tape and just weld the damn thing (make sure the welds are absolutely perfect or once again, BOOM!!!)
Assembly-
1. drill holes to fit all the meters and valves on the air tank.
2. insert bike valve ans seal it up very tightly
3. attactch valves and meters
4. weld the electronic sprinkler valve to the air tank
5. drill hole in the part of the barrel that is closest to the sprinkler valve
6. weld barrel to the rest of the gun.
7. add wires to the sprinkler thing to make it open when u use a 9 volt battery, i suggest adding a switch to make it easier.
8. make sure the sprinkler valve is closed
9. make sure the ignightor has a battery in it for the spark
10. attach propane tank.
11. hit the ignition button to make sure that no propane is leaking, if u get a flame, it is leaking, no flame = good
12. if you are good, pump air in the tank using an air compressor ( a regular bike pump takes 2 long)
13. check meters, do not exeed over 95 PSI, the propane tank will go and possibly the gun.
14. when you are ready, hit the firing switch and ignition button at the same time. any projectile will go a good mile (at least a golfball will)
after the gun has completely stoped firing, yank off the propane tank to save sum gas
this gun takes some skill to operate cause its the way i made my first and only hybrid.
its a little heavy and bulky so i suggest a mount.
PS: if you lauch and egg out of it, it lands scrambled (as in, it fired, the pressure was so much it cracked, and cooked)
