Sorry man, that comes off as being less than optimistic. She regrets being alone because she's insecure. Did she say she missed YOU? Not that she missed having a bf, not that she missed having you AS a bf, but missed YOU? That's one hint about whether or not you should even think about getting back with her. Friends and family can't say much if what you two have is real... but from what you said, I'm not sure if it is.
