My daughter just came home from school (8th grade) and announced that (it must be a mistake, Mom!), she scored 10th in the school on the state math proficiency tests. She HATES math. Her score, 269 out of 285. So I asked her brother, who is in the Math Olympiad and came in second for that, how'd he'd do? 271

Guess he came in 8th or 9th

I'm in shock!!
