My dad just hates when his kids buy him stuff for Father's Day. He does, however, love our annual brunch. We pick somewhere to go and just sit around, eat good food, and talk all afternoon. A few years back I found a bunch of old photos from my Dad's childhood. I put together an album full of pictures of him as he grew up (as a child, in high school, in the navy), pictures of his parents and brothers, and pictures of all his daughters growing up. He'd never had all the pictures together and to this day it's the only present that he's ever seemed to really enjoy. I don't think you have to buy your Dad anything, just spend some time with him or do something thoughful for him, he'll appreciate it.
