Happened to me. I married the girl. Total bliss!
Although we did have a 1 year engagement. I think it's good to make sure the love does last.
But remember, love is like roses. You have to nurture them, and even so there can be thorny times. But you keep nuturing, and you get true happiness and real beauty.
