I have been listening to a couple of lounge type (remix) CD's recently and have a few recommendations.
Upstairs At Larry's (Lawrence Welk Uncorked)
Most of the remixes in this one sound like they belong in a David Lynch movie. I especially like "Blue Velvet (Smitty Remix)" and "Watch What Happens [Physics Plastique Extravaganza Remix]"
What is Hip (Remix Project Vol I)
These are remixes of oldies and not so much lounge music but they are mostly easy listening. I especially like "Tony Joe White - Rainy Night in Georgia [Boozoo Bajou's Georgia Dub]".
