I havent done this for awhile so:
A couple months ago I got Imogen Heap's 'Speak For Yourself.' Friggin amazing. I also picked up a Rod Stewart collection, a Clapton collection, a mixed Fifties album, and a Duke Ellington/Rosemary Clooney collaboration which was excellent.
More recently I picked up a Buddy Rich live album 'Big Swing Face', John Legend's 'Get Lifted' and Gnarls Barkley's debut 'St. Elsewhere'. Both of which are excellent as well. Im dissapointed I took so long to pick up 'Get Lifted', I had been meaning to get it earlier but I never got around to it. I'm kicking myself now, considering I could have had this disc a long time ago.
Next up, I'm looking into the rap genre a little more. Some of Common's older stuff, maybe checking out Keak Da Sneak, and some more underground hip-hop.
