Yes he did, although again he failed to get past the 5th inning. Shea stadium may work well for him since he has obvious flyball tendancies (Chase Field, formerly BOB, doesn't treat flyball pitchers not named Schilling or Johnson well). As a 5th starter, there are certainly worse options.
This could be a trade that helps both teams a lot. AZ's closer (Jose Valverde) has gone from being one of the top closers in baseball to nothing in the last week. He may be hurt because he's lost his command and can't throw anything but his fastballs. Hitters know this and he's not getting anybody out. I think Julio could be a possible candidate for the closer's spot, at least on a short term basis.
I don't know what is up with Valverde, going into last, he held batters to less than a .600 OPS and a BAA less than .200 (career). This week has raised both to about .900 and over .300.
