Dad calls me Punkin or Peanut. Mum calls me Bear or Bella. Little brother is Boom to them, Bitty Brubber or Duphlo to me.
I don't know if these names have any effect on us, but it's interesting to think about. Do kids really act differently if you call them monkey or princess? I have a feeling it may a little, but not enough to really matter, unless teh kid hates the name.
