AlmondJoy did you get any help from your OBGYN?
West - Your and AlmondJoy's situations sound like me. After sex I sometimes will get a burning itching sensation that does not go away for quite a while. When I get that feeling, especially if I notice a fishy oder then I know I have Bacterial Vaginosis. A woman can even get this without having sex. It's often caused by bacteria that lives naturally in your digestive tract but accidentally gets into your vagina where it thrives and irritates.
I have a refillable prescription for antibiotic vaginal cream that I use the minute I notice that kind of irritation or oder and I can get rid of it before it gets too intense.
Dr's don't often test for this because it's so very common and often will go away on it's own or even show no symptoms. Some women can even have an overgrowth of this bacteria, some vaginal inflammation but not realize it till they get an abnormal PAP. It doesn't always show on a PAP but I can show up as inflammation.
