Everytime the file is accessed, NAV (the desktop installed client) will scan it with real-time on-access scanning. But I brought up that point as well to my colleague as well (I'm the IT guy)... It's Outlook that's slow after all.
I'm wondering if there was method of telling NAV not to scan it again somehow (which I strongly, strongly doubt and obviously wouldn't recommend to anyone if this method did exist).
In the end, I think he's just whining. :-) Now, I can't simply upgrade his computer yet - it's not in my budget.
