I have never heard of "Three" or Ted Dekker. But I did love Adaptation. Maybe this Ted Dekker fellow saw Adaptation and genuinely though "Donald Kaufman's" movie idea was great? Also the appalling film "Identity" used the exact same conceit, although seemingly not as close the "Three". (There were nine personalities to start with)
Oh, and had a look on wikipedia. Apparently "Thr3e" (oh how original. It's the number '3', in the word 'three'. wonderful!) is being turned into a movie. Yipeeee!!
Charlie Kaufman is a genius.
