Which is kinda what the built in MS thing does. A *lot* of extra HTML code, but most of that can be stripped out without adversely affecting the look of the end result. Similarly for the "index" page that it provides.
I have used the textpad "search and replace" to clean up this kind of slideshow (doing lots of search for "
string" and replace with "").
