What do you call your kid?
Recently I was reading something by DR. James Dobson, a conservative christian who heads Focus On The Family, he was talking about how the nicknames that parents give their kids can ultimately damage their childs self- image. You know, seemingly innocent things like shorty. I think that this is B.S. by the way, but it got me thinking about what nicknames people give there kids and why.
Ill start, when I was little my mom called me sweet pea, but I only have a son ,so I modified to sweet pickle. I also call him sugar-bugar sometimes.
