Some of the fishing scams are funny because of their poor efforts at fearmongering. They go something like this:
"URGENT ATTENTION NEEDED - Paypal Account Fraudulent Activity
Please use the link below to access your Paypal account to investigate potential misuse of your account."
Clicking on the link creates a window that is a spot-on replica of the actual page, but the information is, of course, sent to a third party who then uses it to actually hijack your account.
Delicious irony, no?
