I had someone try to "buy" my classified ad item by sending me a check for several thousand dollars over the amount agreed to sell. I was then to send the difference back via western union.
he fedexed the check to me and i never cashed it. he was going to call the FBI on me. I just stated that I was not going to send any funds until after the check cleared.
he never contacted me again.
greed makes people do dumb things.
