What's the benefit to you? The only thing I see that you say is that the new organization is "highly respected". The job appears to be identical to what you are doing now.
What's the cost-of-living difference? Obviously, Long Island ain't cheap, but I don't know where you are going in Texas.
What about friendships and family? Do you have anybody in New York or Texas?
